ABOUT ME

Born in Alaska, raised on the East Coast, I have an appreciation for the Arts and Math. I moved to Colorado on a whim at the age of 21 and have been here ever since. As the oldest of ten siblings, I have grown to have extreme patience and able to converse with many personalities.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I am honored to have been awarded

the scholarship of merit from Kendall College of Art and Design, where I took classes for Digital Media and a scholarship from Galvanize where I learned Software Development. From creating my highschool's school logo to making a claymation video for my neighborhood, I was able to contribute in to my community in a small way.

WHAT I DO

I know the importance of getting the job done right, in the right way, in the right amount of time. I pride myself in perfection of my work and welcome constructive criticism.

From doodling on a scrap piece of paper to creating exactly what the client ordered, I know what it takes to be a successful designer and developer.

portfolio-home This will be my new portfolio website. Here you can check out a sneak peak. In one day I came up with these sketch concepts. I started coding in React shortly after...	Flashlight Duty Worked on for 3 weeks. In this Galvanize project I incorporated JavaScript, CSS animations, Web Sockets and accelerometer technology. Once you enter the chatroom, it's a race to name what the image is before anyone else. Hover your flashlight over the image to until you figure it out. Technologies: Angular - Node - Express - JavaScript - HTML5 - CSS3 - SASS -WebSockets - Canvas - Gulp - Browserify - Heroku	Pig Roast Website Created in 3 days. This site was made for my father's pig roasting catering business. I also added a Facebook business page for him as well. Technologies: Wix, Sketch
Pristine Clean Created in 4 weeks. This site was made for the company "Pristine Clean". We completed a full-fledged marketing campaign for her company including website, email marketing, a blog, social media and 60 page Market Research proposal. Technologies: MailChimp, Zoho, Wix, Adobe Indesign and Illustrator.	Ant Hill Game Using Illustrator I created a prototype for a computer game. "Ant Hill" is a simple game using the left and right arrow keys to move the gun and the space key as the firing tool. The point of the game is to defend your ant hill. Ants come in all shapes and sizes and as time passes the harder the game becomes. I am working on making this game an app.	A Wrinkle in Time I designed this book cover for "A Wrinkle in Time" in Illustrator. The entire cover is made of only numbers representing time with the Newbery award acting as a pendulum splashing into the numbers to give off a ripple or wrinkle effect.
3D Bathroom I built this entire bathroom using Lightwave. Every object in this room was created from scratch. I used color, transparency percentages and reflection rates to give each surface their look. My love for art and math was combined in this assignment.	gSchool Trivia Worded on for 5 days. This was my first Front-end design project while attending Galvanize Full-Stack program. I enjoyed incorporating fun CSS animations, and ability to add questions to the game! Technologies: HTML5 / CSS3, JavaScript / jQuery, NodeJs / Express, Gulp, MongoDB or Firebase, User Authentication, Bootstrap	Job Pocket Worked on for 4 days. This app I designed is meant to keep an organized list of any job postings you would like to save to then view at a later time. There is also a recommendation section that acts like a news feed for the most up-to-date and relevant job postings from craigslist. Art Leads to Innovation The assignment was to create a poster that resembled that art leads to innovation.	Take a Break This is an image that I took of my little brother Brian. The assignment for this class was to do photo manipulation in the dark room. I successfully overlaid this image using the darkroom, but later used Adobe Photoshop. I call this "Take a Break" because some of us grow up too fast.	Surrealism This is a my drawing of surrealism, one of my favorite types of art. I admire Jim Warren and McEscher specifically.
